Pork chop with garlic & thyme cream sauce with carrots and tender stem broccoli !

  • Pork chop or loins
  • Butter
  • Double cream
  • Garlic
  • Thyme
  • Salt & pepper
  • Veg of your choice

Pork chops are not everyone’s choice and this recipe would work great with chicken or fish . These were proper pork chops from the butchers and were just amazing .

Pre heat oven on a medium heat and cook the chops

Cook your veg I used carrots and broccoli and used a 2 pan steamer, depending on what veg you choose cook as you like. Sometimes I’m super lazy and buy the ones in a bag you throw in the microwave and that’s fine too so long as they are keto friendly ( if you are following a keto lifestyle ) if not choose your favourite .

Melt a knob of butter in a pan

Depending on how garlicky you like your sauce and how big the cloves are will be up to you .

I used 5 cloves not bulbs and crushed them between the knife and the chopping board add them to the pan and stir

Add your thyme to the pan and stir again making sure you don’t burn the butter

Add the double cream season with salt and pepper and simmer gently warming it through

Place the chop on the plate add your veg and pour the sauce over and enjoy 😊
